Blog: From PaCE to Paris
At UCSB PaCE, we’re proud to see our students excel beyond the classroom. Recently, our faculty member Don Blumenthal reunited with one such student, Jessica Mbounkap, during a trip to Paris. Jessica’s story is one of determination, hard work, and global opportunity. Originally from Cameroon, she attended PaCE after enrolling in Don’s Business and Personal Branding course, where she earned one of the top grades. Her experience in this class helped set her on a path toward international success.
Now studying at aivancity, a leading AI and tech university in Paris (aivancity AI and Data Science Program), Jessica is excelling both academically and professionally. She completed competitive internships at Air France and played a role as an ambassador for Coca-Cola at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Jessica’s drive and accomplishments speak volumes about the power of professional development and the importance of a strong educational foundation.
During Don’s trip, Jessica graciously showed him and his wife around Paris, sharing her passion for the city and her pride in being the first student from aivancity to attend UCSB PaCE. You can learn more about aivancity’s programs here.
Her journey is a testament to the global reach of UCSB PaCE, and we hope that her success inspires future students, especially those seeking professional development in a fast-paced world. We’re thrilled to have been part of Jessica’s growth and look forward to following her future achievements.
