California Credential secondary science or science teaching experience. Selected through the screening application process by Materials Research Laboratory (MRL). This course is designed to assist experienced teachers who have participated in a science research internship at UCSB in the creation of an innovative science curriculum that emphasizes investigative science techniques and skills and provides students with opportunities to participate in open-ended inquiry-based experiments and projects. The curriculum incorporates the California Science Standards with particular emphasis on those standards that promote problem-solving and the use of advanced technology and software.
