University Immersion Program

International Diploma Program
At UCSB’s professional school, you can earn a specialized diploma in many areas. Or, combine coursework to earn multiple diplomas. Diploma Programs are specializations focusing on career skills and practical subjects. You can customize your study plan for a multidisciplinary approach to boost your resume/CV!
3+1 Program
This program is designed for international college students who have completed three years of undergraduate study in their home country. They will spend their fourth year here at UCSB to get study abroad experience and to prepare for the US graduate program application process. Students will earn UC units to transfer back to their home university to receive their bachelors’ degree. Some of the units they earn may be transferable if they are accepted into a UC graduate school.
Undergraduate Pathway Program
This step-by-step Undergraduate Pathway Program is designed to prepare high school graduates to seek admission to a US research university. As a defined pathway, it allows students to receive a structured preparation for succeeding in the rigorous academic environment of top universities in the US.
Connect Program
The UCSB PaCE Connect Program, offered by UCSB Professional and Continuing Education in collaboration with KSE Global Education, provides a two-year pathway for global high school graduates to enroll at a top-ranked U.S. public university. The program offers a structured, comprehensive college curriculum built specifically for international students, career preparation programming, and a guaranteed pathway to four-year degree programs.
UCSB MasterScholar Summer Research Program
The MasterScholar Summer Research Program, offered in collaboration with KSE Global Education, provides an immersive pre-college academic experience for high school students interested in sustainability, engineering, and environmental science.
UCSB PaCE Pre-College & Summer Discovery
In collaboration with Summer Discovery, the industry-leading pre-college summer enrichment program, this unique opportunity is tailored for high school students in grades 9-12. Students will experience life at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where the majestic Santa Ynez Mountains meet the sparkling Pacific Ocean while immersing themselves in world-class academics in a vibrant campus community.
